    DIRECT | FIELD SAFETY COORDINATOR [COLORADO]

    A great opportunity to join a top electrical infrastructure company! Looking for an experienced safety professional to coordinate safety efforts for Colorado territory.

    *open to candidates in the Denver area or on the western slope (Denver, Golden, Glenwood Springs, Grand Junction, etc.)

    KEY SKILLS:  Construction Safety, Field Safety, Electrical Infrastructure Construction, Transmission, Distribution, Substation

    • Anticipate $90-$110K, BOE
    • Full suite of benefits, 401K
    • Anticipate 80-90% in the field, territory is roughly 8 hour radius from Denver
    • Company truck provided (with gas card, hotel & meals expensed)
    • Ability to have flexible schedule to meet project needs
    • Seeking experience with T&D projects, substation construction (69kV up to 345kV)

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
    • Learn and advise on local union, customer, and project requirements
    • Coach and assist in safety management system activities
    • Monitor safety standards and procedures in the field
    • Conduct job site visits and document observations
    • Assist in compliance plan development
    • Maintain safety documentation
    • Participate in customer meetings and safety training
    • Promote environmentally friendly business activities

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years of field safety experience preferred
    • Prefer OSHA 10, 30, 500
    • Prefer Safety Certification (CST, CSM, CHSM, etc.), not required
    • Experience overseeing union trades a plus, not required
    • Safety experience related to Transmission, Distribution or Substation Construction projects
    • Knowledge of utility safety regulations, DOT regulations, local/state guidelines
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Ability to manage multiple projects
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Valid Driver's License
    • Ability to travel as needed (80-90% of time spent in field)
