Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Surgical Technologist Certification (CST) will be required within 6 months of successful completion of Accredited Surgical Technician Program.  Failure to obtain certification will result in job change or termination of employment Job Summary Assists surgeons by preparing operating rooms and appropriately arranging surgical equipment and supplies under the direct supervision of Certified Surgical Technician (CST) or Registered Nurse (RN).
