  • Responsibilities

    We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and experienced family law paralegal to play an important role on our legal team, either in a part-time or full-time role. You'll draft legal documents such as affidavits, prepare pleadings to be filed with the court, work with other members of our team to provide regular communication to clients, and keep case files and other important information neatly organized and easily accessible. Responsibilities: • Help lawyers prepare for trial by preparing and organizing exhibits, assisting with client meetings, filing motions, conducting research on legal articles, and organizing and coordinating witnesses • Take care of administrative tasks such as answering phones and maintaining an organized filing system for all legal documents Prepare first drafts of legal documents, including letters, pleadings, motion, subpoenas, affidavits and deposition notices. Qualifications: • At least 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting • Candidates should possess high-level organizational skills, and time-management skills • Strong preference for candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have an advanced paralegal education Compensation: $37,000 - $48,000 yearly
