    Job Description

    This position is good fit for entry level candidates with any prior inside sales, telesales, or customer service/marketing experience who enjoy new business development and onboarding as well as organizing and coaching new clients.

    Account Managers are responsible for client success and new service sales while maintaining a productive relationship with customers and their internal staff.  

    COVID POLICY: EACH STAFF MEMBER WORKS IN A PRIVATE OFFICE ALONE WHILE RESTRICTIONS ARE ACTIVE.

    COMPENSATION

    $14/hr plus monthly marketing incentive.

    Incentive components a) Account expansion - presenting new services to customers b) Business development to targeted associations and universities c) New customer onboarding

    ACCOUNT MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Collaborate with our creative team to help enhance our design services into deliverables that allow our clients to make more advertising and growth revenue from every issue.

    2. Identify opportunities for publishers to promote their publication to gain audience and target new advertisers that want higher impact ads inside each digital edition.

    3. Educate clients for methods of leveraging their website, digital editions, and social media strategies to reach their niche.

    4. New business growth - making targeted calls to inactive customers, and new business targets.

     

    DAILY WORK ACTIVITIES

    • Speaking with prospective customers and presenting demos
    • Preparing resources and replying to questions from clients - Phone conferences, calls and short webshare presentations - New business quotes, proposals, and onboarding - Research, training, administrative and reporting
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Position Requirements:

    1. Prior media, publishing, advertising, or consultative client support role 
    2. Strong verbal phone communication skills
    3. Effective writing and e-mail communication skills
    4. Strong web and social media skills
