  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Responsible for designing and implementing new features and CMS theme functionality - primarily Wordpress, establishing and guiding web architecture, ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.  

    Must be able to communicate effectively (key tools: SLACK ongoing collaboration and ASANA based work project assignments) to work with senior development and integration professionals.  May also have interactions with client and 3rd party technical professionals.

    COMPENSATION Professionals that meet qualifications with under 5 years experience may be considered for an entry level classifications of this position based on starting pay of $14-16/hr depending on skill level.  Experienced candidates please submit recent compensation history and compensation requirements.

     

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
    • Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
    • Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
    • Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
    • Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
    • Ability to convert comprehensive documented PSD design layouts and wireframes into working HTML pages
    • Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
    • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
    • Basic understanding of PHP back-end development
