We are looking for a skilled Aerial Foreman to support all phases of copper and fiber construction for various telecom projects. Candidates must have 5–10 years of hands-on experience in utility construction, with a strong understanding of industry standards and fieldwork. MUST HAVE DOCUMENTED TELECOMMUNICATION EXPERIENCE TO QUALIFY FOR SIGN ON BONUS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and repair aerial copper and fiber optic cable according to work prints
- Complete daily production reports - must be proficient at Microsoft Office and operating a computer
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects, meet established deadlines and change as business needs require.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Perform work in all weather conditions
- Place, relocate, and remove poles, lines, drop wire, and block wire to maintain system performance
- Set up and maintain safe work zones using signage, cones, and barriers
- Operate construction equipment and maintain work areas. Safely use equipment like bucket truck and digger derrick
- Review project plans, specifications, and installation instructions to ensure accurate execution
- Perform on-site tasks and guide team efforts to ensure quality and efficiency
- Perform work in all weather conditions
- Perform after hour emergency call outs (weekends included)
- Investigate and document any utility damages, taking corrective action as needed.
- Work in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, climb ladders/poles and lift greater than 55 pounds
- Communicate daily with the Field Supervisor or Area Manager
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- ****To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
- Able to properly inspect rubber goods and PPE.
- Comply with company reporting procedures and complete required company paperwork.
- Previous experience safely operating various hand tools and utility trucks
- Class B CDL (minimum 3 years) with a driving record that allows the employee to be insured by BlueStreak's insurance carrier.
* Disqualifying violation types:
* 1 or more Serious (Type A) violations in the past 5 years.
* 2 or more Accidents (Type B) violations in the past 3 years.
* 3 or more non-Serious violations (Type C) in the past 3 years.
* 1 Type B and 2 Type C violations in the past 3 years.
Preferred Qualification:
- Class A CDL (minimum 3 years) - see above disqualifying violations is preferred.
- Rudimentary copper splicing experience is preferred **** **

This position pays $35-$45 per hour, based on experience.
