    About Us: JRP Utility Construction is an expert turn-key utility construction company that offers walkout and design, permitting, both aerial and underground construction, fiber and copper splicing and all required testing and closeout packages. We are seeking an experienced, safety-conscious Aerial Lineman to support ongoing and upcoming projects. This role is fast-paced and safety-focused and you will support overhead construction and maintenance of RF and fiber service.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Install, repair, and maintain aerial telecommunication lines and aerial hardware.

    Safely climb poles, operate bucket trucks, and utilize climbing gear as required to access elevated work areas.

    String, lash, and tension aerial cables using hand tools, aerial lifts, and lashing equipment.

    Interpret and work from construction maps, utility prints, and electronic diagrams.

    Communicate effectively with contractors, project managers, and property owners as needed in English but bilingual is a plus.

    Maintain accurate records of work performed, material used and daily activities.

    Follow all company and OSHA safety regulations and guidelines.

    Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed.

    Identify and report hazardous conditions or damage to utility infrastructure.

    Work collaboratively with ground crews, operators, and field supervisors to ensure timely project completion.

    Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in safe and working condition.

    Perform various other general labor tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

    Required Qualifications:

    5+ years proven experience in aerial linework using a variety of industry-standard tools and technologies.

    Experience with bucket trucks, winches, hoists, and other aerial construction equipment.

    Ability to accurately read and interpret construction maps and utility plans.

    Strong attention to detail and commitment to job site safety.

    Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

    Current and valid auto insurance.

    Must pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.

    Reliable transportation and ability to work independently in the field.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) preferred, but not required.

    OSHA safety certifications or other relevant training a plus.

    Additional Requirements:

    Overnight travel is required for some projects. Travel assignments may span from a few days to several consecutive weeks. Lodging will be provided as applicable.

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

    Comfortable working at heights.

    Ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.

    Must be capable of performing physically demanding tasks safely and efficiently.
