PURPOSE
The Corporate Recruiting Manager will be primarily focused on recruiting for corporate, management and experienced roles while assisting state site HR Managers with plant level recruiting as needed. This position will work out of our Chicago (River North) office.
Reporting to the CFO, the Recruiting Manager will lead upper tier recruiting efforts with an emphasis on direct recruiting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating interviews with leadership, reference verification, onboarding, playing a key leadership role. Will work closely with the Executive Team, as well as site HR Managers. Aeriz is experiencing continued growth and is expanding our workforce in 2022 from approximately 300 employees to approximately 600 employees. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum of 4 years of full life cycle Recruiting for Corporate Level roles with a focus on identifying and attracting top-tier talent
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize is essential.
· Exceptional stability required
· Cannabis industry, Staffing Firm or Corporate Recruiting for a Manufacturing & Distribution Company experience is a plus
· Corporate level recruiting experience for a manufacturing company is desired.
· Exceptional communication abilities and organizational skills.
· Strong computer skills.
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management or other business-related field desired.
· Ability to pass a National Background Check required.
Overview:
· Talent acquisition expertise will focus on identifying and attracting in-demand professionals, recruitment, interviewing, screening and hiring of high demand, qualified job applicants.
· Assist with interview preparations, communications and extending offers to qualified applicants.
· Send and review new hire paperwork with the new hires including scheduling background checks.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that is deadline driven.
· Computer proficiency with applicant tracking
· Strong collaboration abilities - will work closely with departmental managers to achieve initiatives.
· Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
· Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
· Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
· Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
· Performs other duties as assigned.
