    THE ROLE

    We are looking for someone to join our Fulfilment & Planning team with specific focus on Drone Operations. 

    Aerobotics' Drone Operations team is responsible for the company's data collection process. The team's activities range from the onboarding and recruitment of pilots across the globe, providing specific pilot training, managing relationships, and driving continuous engagement with our Drone Pilots in order to provide an excellent service to our clients. 

    HOW YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE TO OUR SUCCESS:

    • Provide first line of support and technical assistance to our Drone Partners in USA and South America
    • Drone Partner recruitment, training, communication and relationship management
    • Initiate, plan, and execute Drone Partner events to recruit, train and promote Aerobotics
    • Bridge the gap between our sales and operations teams by providing operational reports
    • Support our US Business Development Managers, the Head of US and Chief Commercial Officer
    • Identify potential partnerships and expansion opportunities
    • Identify and broker joint ventures/partnerships to meet Aerobotics strategic objectives
    • Schedule drone missions across the US (and in other countries as required)
    • Represent Aerobotics at conferences and other public events
    • Carry out detailed analytics of key drivers of our business and prepare reporting on strategic finance initiatives
    • Ensure client contracts are completed, reviewed and fulfilled

    OUR IMPACT TO DATE: We have helped farmers manage over 60 million trees with clients in 18 countries, including Africa, USA, Spain, and Australia. 

    WHERE WE ARE BASED: Right now we have 2 main offices in Cape Town and Los Angeles, in addition to this we have Business Development Managers and Sales guys on the ground across the world - working remotely and mostly spending their days with our farmers.

    WHAT WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE

    Ideally, 1+ years of experience as a customer support specialist or a similar role

    A good amount of grit to survive a startup environment

    Exposure to the UAV industry 

    Fluency in English and Spanish. Fluency in Portuguese would be a bonus. 

    Strong communication and organisational skills

    Immaculate attention to detail and drive to improve current processes

    Experience in managing multiple projects on the go and scheduling appointments

    Use of the following software would be beneficial:

    • Google G-Suite
    • Salesforce
    • Q-GIS or Google Earth
    • Ability to use SQL
