Syndeo is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative for a metal processing company in Wichita, KS. This role is responsible for tracking orders throughout the production process and ensuring they move according to schedule while maintaining clear and timely communication with both internal teams and customers.
Pay - $18.50
Schedule – Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM – Rotating Saturday schedule required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and monitor customer orders throughout the shop to ensure on-time completion
- Coordinate with production teams to maintain schedule accuracy and address delays
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner
- Provide regular status updates to customers and internal stakeholders
- Assist in resolving order issues and escalating concerns as needed
Work Environment:
- Approximately 80% on the production floor (exposed to varying temperatures)
- Approximately 20% in an office setting using a computer
- Requires standing and walking for extended periods (up to 5 miles per day)
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage responsibilities independently
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude, energy, and team-oriented mindset
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance are required
- Customer service experience preferred, but not required (training provided for the right candidate)
