    About New Moon MedSpa

New Moon Rejuvenating MedSpa & Concierge Care opened its doors in 2025 with a simple but powerful mission: to help clients uncover the beauty that’s already within them.

We believe wellness and confidence go hand in hand — which is why our team focuses on enhancing, not altering, natural radiance. Clients are met where they are, without judgment or pressure, and are never pushed into services they don’t want.

At New Moon, every journey starts with kindness.

    “Your journey starts with kindness.”

    Who We’re Looking For

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a dual-credentialed professional — an RN with aesthetic injecting experience who also holds a New Mexico esthetician license. Someone who can move seamlessly between the clinical precision of injectable treatments and the artful, relationship-centered world of advanced skincare.

If you love doing it all and thrive in a dynamic, growing MedSpa environment, this role was built for you.

    The ideal candidate:

Brings both the clinical skill of an aesthetic injector and the artistry of an experienced esthetician

Approaches every client with warmth, patience, and zero judgment

Empowers clients through education — never pressure

Takes pride in delivering natural, consistent, confidence-building results

Maintains a high standard of clinical integrity and professional presentation

Thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment where no two days are the same

    Position Summary

The Aesthetic Nurse & Skincare Specialist delivers the full spectrum of New Moon’s non-surgical aesthetic services — from precision injectable treatments to advanced skincare — under physician oversight and in compliance with the New Mexico Nursing Practice Act, esthetician scope of practice, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    Injectable Services (RN Scope)

Administer neuromodulators, including Daxxify and Botox, tailored to each client’s facial structure and goals

Perform dermal filler treatments with precision and an eye for natural, balanced results

Provide PRP treatments as trained and authorized

IV Therapy & Wellness (RN Scope)

Administer IV therapy blends and vitamin/wellness injections, including B12 and NAD+

Support GLP-1 (semaglutide) programs under physician oversight

    Advanced Skincare (Esthetician Scope)

Perform medical-grade facials, superficial chemical peels, and microdermabrasion

Conduct comprehensive skin assessments and develop individualized treatment plans

Follow all manufacturer guidelines and MedSpa protocols

    Client Care & Compliance

Conduct consultations, review medical history, and obtain informed consent

Educate clients on treatments, skincare regimens, and pre/post-care instructions

Recommend skincare products and support retail sales

    Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant documentation

Monitor for adverse reactions and escalate appropriately

Maintain OSHA-compliant infection control standards and organized treatment rooms

    Qualifications & Licensure

    Required:

Current, unencumbered RN license in New Mexico

Current, unencumbered New Mexico Esthetician License (R.F.)

Minimum 1 year of aesthetic injecting experience in a med spa or clinical setting

Training or certification in neuromodulators and dermal fillers

    Preferred:

Experience with medical-grade skincare treatments, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion

    Experience with IV therapy administration

    Additional Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of facial anatomy and aesthetic contraindications

Professional presentation and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude

    Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform fine motor procedures

Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies up to 25 lbs

If you are a dual-credentialed RN and licensed esthetician who brings the full package — precision, artistry, warmth, and vision — we would love to meet you.
