    Job Overview

    We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Aesthetic Physician Assistant to join our innovative aesthetic medicine team. In this role, you will deliver advanced cosmetic treatments, assist with patient assessments, and support the delivery of personalized aesthetic procedures. Your expertise will help clients achieve their beauty goals while ensuring safety, comfort, and exceptional care.     Required Licensure (Virginia)

    Active and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in Virginia

    NCCPA certification in good standing

    Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)

    Must practice under a supervising physician in accordance with Virginia Board of Medicine regulations

    DEA registration (if prescribing medications) preferred

    Required Experience

    Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience (Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Aesthetic Medicine, or related field preferred)

    Demonstrated hands-on experience administering neurotoxins (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin)

    Experience performing dermal filler injections (lips, cheeks, jawline, tear trough, etc.)

    Strong understanding of facial anatomy and vascular anatomy

    Experience conducting comprehensive aesthetic consultations and developing treatment plans

    Ability to recognize and manage complications (vascular occlusion, infection, adverse reactions)

    Experience with laser and energy-based devices preferred

    Proficiency with EMR documentation and medical charting

    Strong patient communication and education skills

    Professional, polished bedside manner appropriate for cosmetic practice

    Ability to work independently while collaborating with supervising physician

    Preferred Qualifications

    Aesthetic injection certification or advanced aesthetic training courses

    Experience in a high-volume med spa or cosmetic practice

    Established client following

    Sales or consultative approach experience

    Before-and-after portfolio

    Experience:

    Aesthetic treatments: 2 years (Required)
