Role Snapshot We're seeking an experienced aesthetician who specializes in non-invasive body contouring. This is NOT a learn-on-the-job position. You must have extensive hands-on experience with body sculpting equipment and be able to walk into a treatment room and run a session without hesitation.
Non-Negotiable Requirements – You Will NOT Be Considered Without:
- Hands-on experience operating ultrasonic cavitation equipment
- Hands-on experience with RF (radiofrequency) body treatments
- Hands-on experience with lipo laser / LED body contouring devices
- Proficiency in lymphatic drainage (manual and device-assisted)
- Experience with vacuum therapy / cupping for body treatments
If you have only facial aesthetics experience or are looking to "learn" body contouring, this is not the right fit.
What You'll Do
Body Contouring & Aesthetic Treatments
- Perform body contouring sessions including cavitation, RF, lipo laser, lymphatic drainage, vacuum therapy, and shockwave
- Deliver medical-grade facials, chemical peels, and skincare treatments
- Conduct skin consultations and recommend appropriate treatment plans
- Educate patients on realistic expectations and at-home care protocols
- Maintain before/after photography and treatment documentation
- Monitor patients during treatments and document any concerns
Patient Experience & Membership
- Create exceptional experiences that reflect BFF's commitment to personalized care
- Educate patients on membership benefits and available services
- Support patient retention through quality care and proactive follow-up
- Cross-sell appropriate services based on patient needs and treatment goals
Marketing & Brand Building
- Participate in social media content creation including treatment videos, before/after posts, and educational content
- Support marketing initiatives, promotional events, and member appreciation activities
- Serve as an authentic ambassador of the BFF wellness lifestyle
- Contribute to building our reputation through exceptional patient outcomes
Clinical Operations Support
- Maintain treatment rooms—clean, stocked, and ready for the next patient
- Manage inventory of skincare products, supplies, and retail items
- Assist clinical team with patient flow and room turns
- Support front desk operations as needed during peak times
- Follow all SOPs and contribute to process improvement
- Maintain compliance with all sanitation, safety, and regulatory standards

Qualifications
- Valid California Esthetician License (required)
- Minimum 2+ years experience in body contouring at a med spa, wellness studio, or body sculpting clinic
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
- Comfort with social media and content creation
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
