AEYON POSITION TITLE: PROJECT MANAGEMENT INSTRUCTOR 

LOCATION: Huntsville, AL/ Washington D.C

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Aeyon is seeking an experienced, PMP-certified Project Management professional to assist in developing and delivering courses on a variety of Project Management topics, including Earned Value Management, Scheduling, Cost Estimating and Analysis, and Risk Management. MTS is an Authorized Training Partner (ATP) with the Project Management Institute (PMI), and this role will be instrumental in maintaining and growing our training capability to serve professionals in North Alabama.

Job Description:

• Must hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in good standing.
• Strong background in one or more Project Management fields, including Earned Value Management, Scheduling, Cost Estimating and Analysis, and Risk Management.
• Experience teaching Project Management concepts and tailoring materials for specific groups.
• Availability to teach courses in-person and online and at varying times, including evenings and potentially weekends.
• Familiarity with NASA and/or DoD specific Project Management practices is preferred.
• Experience with multiple online course delivery platforms is preferred.
• Experience conducting leadership and development workshops
• Able to collaborate on the design and implementation of strategic initiatives
• Flexibility to travel as necessary to Aeyon's regional offices to deliver training

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency. Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

MANDATORY: BACHELOR'S DEGREE

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Must hold a Project Management (PMP) Certification in good standing.
• 3 to 5 years of Project Management (PMP)
•  Agile experience required

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Essential Functions:

• Work Environment – Generally an office environment but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.
• Physical Requirements – Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. May require lifting and carrying up to 10 lbs.
• Equipment and Machines – Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.)
• Other Essential Functions – Must be able to work in a team atmosphere. Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.
