    JOB DESCRIPTION: 4M Building Solutions is seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist to join the team in San Antonio area. The successful candidate is tasked with the development of the regional market through sales growth focusing on building solutions in the region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in planning and managing regional sales and gross margin goals; building and executing strategic sales and business plans that will best leverage 4M solutions in the single-tenant, multi-tenant, educational, industrial and healthcare market segments; and have the ability to quickly adapt strategies to adjust to these customer’s needs.

     

    The position reports to the Executive Vice President and offers a competitive compensation package and super company culture.

     

    The candidate must: 

    • Develop solid relationships with key decision makers and influencers through in person meetings, industry events, and other networking
    • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements with business operations       
    • Participate in marketing related activities such as trade shows and events        
    • Assist in developing and executing a strategic marketing plan to proactively reach revenue targets       
    • Collaborate with internal team to share best practices and market trends      
    •  Participate in ongoing professional development and sales training        
    • Monitor, review, and report on key metrics to ensure individual sales targets are achieved and execute sales activity documentation in a timely and professional manner
    • Market the business ethically and with integrity to maintain the company’s standing and strong reputation in the industry and community

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    Requirements The candidate should:        

    • Have a minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience; building services industry experience helpful        
    • Hold a bachelor’s degree or have comparable professional experience       
    • Have experience selling solutions to C-level decision makers in a long sales cycle       
    • Be proactive in sales and marketing with experience in and an aptitude for developing new relationships       
    • Have a customer centric mindset with strong relationship building, persuasion, and negotiation, and closing skills        
    • Demonstrate superior interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills       
    • Be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and without direct supervision       
    • Demonstrate sound business judgment, strong decision making, and superior written and verbal communication skills       
    • Have a high level of urgency with a “get the job done” attitude       
    • Have strong attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking, and follow up skills       
    • Be flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances and opportunities        
    • Travel as needed within the greater San Antonio area       
    • Have technology and computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM
