Job Description
Affy Tapple, LLC is seeking a self-motivated, strategic thinking Marketing Manager responsible for leading the development and execution of all channel marketing programs for the Affy Tapple and Mrs. Prindables brands. The person in this position will leverage the company's customer database across all channels to build high customer retention rates and increase customer acquisition.
This role is responsible for the development and execution of all marketing materials to support various channels’ needs. This “hands-on” position will be primarily responsible for supporting our eCommerce efforts (MrsPrindables.com & AffyTapple.com) leveraging E-Mail Marketing, Search Marketing, Direct Mail, and Social. Experience with corporate gifting is a plus.
Reporting to the VP of Marketing the Marketing Manager candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading analysis efforts surrounding how customers interact with eCommerce and identify opportunities to increase eCommerce sales
- Define, develop and execute direction-to-consumer marketing and merchandising strategies including online advertising, e-mail, direct mail, portals and affiliates, and wholesale
- Manage all e-mail marketing campaigns including all promotional, trigger-based, and targeted segment campaigns;
- Evaluate, develop, and implement digital acquisition strategies to grow consumer database;
- Designing retention and reactivation strategies to maximize site traffic, conversion, AOV, revenue, and increase customer base;
- Interacting directly and leading meetings with multiple groups across the organization including IT, customer service, operations, product development, etc
- Develop and analyze reports to monitor marketing performance and ROI across all channels to best understand key drivers of success;
- Responsible for managing the online marketing budget for the eCommerce division, including contracts, invoices, projections, and forecasts on performance and monitoring spending against total plan
- Collaborate with Product Development to translate consumer needs and value propositions into effective online product offerings for the target market
- Manage design resources to develop compelling online media and e-mail creative to support sales growth
- Experience managing external vendors to deliver successful results
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- A Bachelor’s degree in marketing or advertising, with a solid grasp of the fundamentals of marketing and advertising, is required
- 3+ years of Marketing experience
- Must have 1-2+ years of experience in eCommerce
- Strong working knowledge of all business areas including Merchandising, Marketing, e-Commerce Sales
- Must have a proven track record of increasing revenue and profit within a CPG and eCommerce environments a plus
- Ability to work independently and in team environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously is required
- Requires a strong understanding of best practices in online marketing including email, paid search, SEO, social and mobile marketing
- Excellent written, presentation, and communication skills are required
