    SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

    AS A PRESENTATION DESIGNER ON THE EXPERIENCE DESIGN TEAM, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DESIGNING AND DEVELOPING ON BRAND, INNOVATIVE, BEAUTIFUL, AND EFFECTIVE PRESENTATIONS AND COLLATERAL IN SUPPORT OF A MAJOR INTERNAL PROGRAM THAT SUPPORTS THE PROGRAM AND ITS MANY ARMS (STRATEGY, EXPERIENCE, PROGRAM MGMT….) AND DRIVES THE INTERNAL CREATIVE PROCESS, AND SIMILAR FUNCTIONS. IN ADDITION TO YOUR DESIGN SKILLS, WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU TO BRING STORIES TO LIFE AND EMPLOY YOUR SKILLS IN VISUAL STORYTELLING TO THE PROGRAM AND COMPANY.

     

    YOU WILL USE YOUR DESIGN AND CREATIVE SKILLS TO: 

    • DESIGN AND EDIT ADVANCED-LEVEL POWERPOINT PRESENTATIONS 
    • APPLY CREATIVE LAYOUT SOLUTIONS TO PRESENTATION SLIDES 
    • SOURCE PHOTOGRAPHY FOR USE IN MATERIALS
    • SOURCE AND CREATE ICONS TO ADD OT AN EXISTING ICON LIBRARY
    • CREATE PROGRAM AND PROJECT POSTERS AND OTHER PRINTED COLLATERAL
    • CREATE AND EDIT CUSTOMER JOURNEY MAPS
    • STORYBOARD AND CONCEPT VIDEOS
    • EXECUTE COMPLEX AND AMBIGUOUS EDITS WITH MINIMAL DIRECTION 
    • PARTICIPATE IN BRAINSTORMING AND PROJECT MEETINGS

     

     

     

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
        • 3-5 years of professional experience in graphic design focused specifically or primarily on the design and development of corporate presentations.
        • Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint.
        • Experience designing in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
        • Experience in motion graphics, animation, audio/video, and other innovative presentation elements strongly preferred.
        • Prior experience working within SharePoint preferred.
        • Prior experience working within the technical or telecommunications industries preferred.
        • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively across different teams.
        • Self-motivated, independent individual who can perform at optimal levels with little guidance.
        • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with and influence others effectively.
        • Excellent critical thinking skills; using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
    • REQUIREMENTS:WE HAVE A VARIETY OF PROJECTS THAT WOULD NEED PRESENTATION DESIGN SUPPORT. THIS WOULD SUPPORT THE LARGEST PROGRAM IN THE OPS (CX/UX) TEAM AND GET HIGH VISIBILITY INTERNALLY.

  • Qualifications

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in instructional systems design or ten (10) years’ experience in instructional design or education-related discipline
    • Ability to demonstrate a thorough understanding of grammatical standards as well as sentence structure requirements
    • Ability to understand diverse cultures and craft language to suit a global audience
    • Strong communication skills (verbal and written), ability to multi-task and work under pressure
    • Ability to work with limited supervision and collaborate with team members in multiple locations
    • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    • Must have Active Secret Clearance.

    PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Experience with Department of State preferred
