    GENERAL SUMMARY

    Provides complex technical assistance in support of operating commercial or military systems. May provide system services in the areas of maintenance, testing, operations, logistics, integration, and installation. Provides system administration and network to training and operational systems as required. This position will require deployment overseas for a period not to exceed 90 days. Deployment compensation will apply. Work will involve climbing on military equipment, and will require being able to lift, carry, or move items up to approximately forty pounds. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provides on-site Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on military two-satellite geolocation system.

    • Provides technical assistance to daily operations, system upgrades, and preventative maintenance of these military systems. 

    • Resolves operational and technical deficiencies within the systems.

    • Provides system, database, and network administration to the systems.

    • Tests systems to ensure proper functionality.

    • Identifies, orders, receives, and tracks parts.

    • Prepares and coordinates equipment for shipment.

    • Installs and integrates parts on military systems.

    • Updates operations and maintenance material as required.

    • Provide Type-1 Operations and Maintenance Training.

    • Monitors daily system operations ensuring system performance and data requirements meet specifications

    • Tests system to ensure proper functionality.

    • Identifies, orders, receives, and tracks parts.

    • Installs and integrates parts on military systems .

    • Updates, refines, maintains, and delivers training material.

    • Experience interfacing with customers directly, position requires daily interactions with customers of all ranks and grades

    • Experience building quick, but long term rapport with customers as member will be deployed as the sole COLSA team member with supporting unit

    • Strong communications experience, must be able to lead weekly teleconference with top level stakeholders from PMO and supporting units and provide precise technical support verbally and in writing

    Required Skills Required Experience

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field or the equivalent experience.

    • Minimum of 5 years of related experience required.

    • Must have operational space, satellite communications, and/or military intelligence experience.

    • Ability to obtain and maintain Security+ CE Certification within 6 months (if not already possessed)

    • Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing and spreadsheet programs.

    • Currently active Top Secret clearance with immediate eligibility for SCI required.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Two years of Sat Geolocation experience, SatID or Bounty Hunter preferred.

    • Computer system/network administration or maintenance experience.

    • Systems engineering experience.

    • Military training experience.

    • Linux experience

    • Active Security+CE Certification

    • Experience in interfacing with customers as the only person on the ground.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Must have minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
    • Must have experience with the National Guard
    • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Must have proficient computer skills (power point, word and excel)
    • MUST HAVE AT LEAST A SECRET SECURITY LEVEL CLEARANCE AND MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN A TOP SECRET/SCI CLEARANCE AS REQUIRED.
    • Experience in applying advanced cyber principles, concepts, methods, standards, and practices in order to interpret policies, procedures and strategies.
    • Must possess knowledge of information systems security operations, techniques, tools, and standards.
    • Must have the ability to analyze, plan, and integrate information assurance and security guidelines and policies.
    • Specialized training in Cyber concepts is preferred. Examples include: USAF Cyber 200 or Cyber 300 course or equivalent; computer network operations training; cyber security training, operational security (OPSEC) training.
