    COLSA Corporation is seeking resumes for evaluation and consideration for possible future employment opportunities as Windows Systems Analysts to join the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) Advanced Research Center (ARC). The candidate selected will be afforded the opportunity to showcase their expertise and technical abilities in a fast-paced, dynamic and team-oriented environment. The selected candidate will provide technical support to the MDA’s engineering, development, integration, testing and analysis of Ballistic Missile Defense Systems (BMDS) infrastructure and component systems.

    This Systems Analyst will be responsible for the effective installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of system hardware, software and related infrastructure on multiple platforms, primarily Windows systems. Additional duties include but are not limited to:

    • Provide system administration support to accredited computing systems participating in MDA ground/flight test and/or training events.
    • Implement cybersecurity software installations such as HBSS, RSA and LCE on accredited computing systems in coordination with the Cybersecurity department.
    • Monitor system cybersecurity compliance scans to ensure complete and authenticated scans.
    • Provide troubleshooting support on hardware, software and cybersecurity applications.
    • Provide technical support for hardware/software installations and assist users with configuring Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) hardware.
    • Monitor system auditing files, audit logs, data archiving and user activity to verify system integrity and check for unauthorized use.
    • Perform scheduled (Security/Cyber, CCRI/CVT, CVE, Configuration Management) audits of assigned systems.
    • Manage user accounts on classified systems in a multi-factor authentication (MFA) environment to include establishment, disabling, and deletion per approved processes.
    • Manage and establish role-based privileged user accounts upon required approvals.
    • Perform DISA SCC SCAP cybersecurity scans, IAVM patch installation, and manual system configurations in accordance with DISA STIGs.
    • Implement backup and restore procedures of accredited computer systems to include server system state and user data where applicable.
    • Record, track and maintain status of the baseline configuration for each of the assigned accredited systems.
    • May develop Plans of Action & Mitigation (POA&M) to document deviations from approved DISA STIG requirements and/or category findings.
    • May serve as the task lead for a specific group/department/project/ providing leadership/guidance when appropriate.
    •  Other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and exhibit the ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, customer-oriented environment.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    • Associate's degree in related field, or the equivalent experience
    • 1 - 8 years’ work related experience
    • In accordance with DoD 8570.1M, the candidate must possess an IAT-II level baseline certification (CompTIA Security+).
    • Candidate must possess a relevant Computing Environment Certification (Microsoft Certified System Administrator or equivalent).
    • Current DoD Secret Security Clearance required.
    • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Experience with administration of Microsoft SQL server and supporting database to include any past experience with applying DISA Security
    • Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) configurations to SQL servers.
    • Working knowledge and experience with UNIX/Linux servers and workstations
    • Experience configuring and managing database enabled applications.
    • Experience with Microsoft group security policies and their application within a Windows Active Directory domain to include actual implementation and sustainment.
    • Experience with administrating and sustain Windows servers to include dedicated application servers, backup servers, and domain controllers.
    • Experience administrating backup servers and associated archive media to include disk and tape libraries.
