  • Responsibilities

    General Summary Performs complex government property administration and accounting duties relative to government property assigned to the company. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)

    • Responsible for government property accounting duties and other required administration related duties that are complex in nature *
    • Develops procedures for the receipt and issue of materials and equipment that belong to the U.S. Government *
    • Submits recommendations to improve operations *
    • Develops and installs property accounting systems and revisions as needed *
    • Represents the company during government property audits *
    • May have responsibility for interface and negotiations with subcontractors
    • May provide work leadership for lower level employees

    Required Skills Required Experience

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree in an applicable field or equivalent experience

    • Minimum of eight years related experience

    • Must have extensive knowledge in government property administration practices

    • Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and database programs

    • US Citizenship required; Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Active DoD Secret Clearance

    • Direct work experience managing GFE/GFI/GFP

    • Direct work experience with generating DD1149, DD250, shipping documentation

    • Direct work experience with maintaining inventory databases
