Full and Part Time positions are available.
- Uniformed Security Guard personnel with Top Secret clearance eligibility for 2 locations on Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.
- Must be flexible to work 1st, 2nd and 3rd and/or some 12 hour shifts where necessary.
- Former Military, Retired Military, National Guard or Reservists are encouraged to apply.
- Officers must be familiar with "Post Orders" which outline responsibilities such as Entrance/Exit posts; Roving Posts; Traffic Control; Control, Issuance and Storage of Keys; Security and Fire Systems; Building Rules and Regulations; Unauthorized Access; Response to Injury/Illnesses.
Required Skills
- Employee is responsible for monitoring alarm systems, closed circuit television systems, providing response to alarms, security incidents, and all emergency situations.
- Perform Access Control duties
- Maintain visitor control, ensure only authorized individuals gain access, and prevent entry of unauthorized items.
- Maintain accountability of all entry badges, keys, and assigned equipment; report all discrepancies.
- Complete Daily activities log.
- Secure all exterior buildings doors and windows
- Turn off lights for energy conservation,
- Check for proper and safe operations on each campus
- Check for alarms, hazards, spills, floods and record any abnormal conditions, and notify appropriate personnel and take corrective action.
- Conduct watchman tours/security sweeps in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Maintain security logs, journals, and incident statements/reports in a timely manner.
Required Experience
- High school diploma/GED.
- Some College or Associates Degree Preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Must have valid Alabama Security Officer license.
- Must possess and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
