    Position: Sr. Global Portal Product Manager

    (Dallas/Austin preferred but open to all US locations)

    THE REQUIREMENTS 

    To be a good fit for the Sr. Manager of Product Management opportunity, you will have:

    • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, business, engineering, or information technology.
    • Strong technical skills and proven experience in portal development and portal management.
    • 5-7+ years of experience in the technology industry, particularly in requirements development and customer portal products.
    • Experience working with or in a development environment and comfortable engaging technical discussions.
    • A proven track record of understanding customer and market needs and delivering products and technology solutions to address those needs.
    • Proven strong leadership and management skills.
    • Familiarity with data center or data center related business.
    • A strong understanding of product development and product marketing.
    • Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to develop and deliver executive level communications.
    • Independence, motivation, and a strong sense of ownership.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills to work throughout the company to ensure critical business execution.
    • You also will need to be willing and able to travel -- once it is safe -- 15% to 20% of the time.
    • To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

     

    THE ROLE

    Reporting to the Sr. Director, Global Product Management, you will be responsible for managing existing products & services and product changes. This role requires leadership, focus and the ability to manage multiple priorities within the global product management portfolio. Key responsibilities will include:

    • Gathering and managing portal product requirements.
    • Owning and maintaining product descriptions, business requirements, and product roadmaps.
    • Interface with internal development teams on development and extension of the Global API product.
    • Consolidate and work with multiple stakeholders to ensure adequate resourcing and progress against a planned budget and capacity.

    More specifically, you will:

    • Review the business and operational requirements based upon the business requirements.
    • Manage in-life product performance and technical direction the portal product in relation with various Product Managers represented in the portal product.
    • Management of all product integration/launches/changes throughout implementation.
    • Manage cross-functional product requirements and enhancements.
    • Develop and manage the delivery of specialized training on new products launched and raise awareness and application of relevant subject matter.
    • Ensure service levels are met/exceeded and maintained.
    • Ensure reliability standards are met/exceeded expected.
