    Afterschool Supervisor

    Our programs is seeking an experienced and dependable Afterschool Supervisor to lead and support our school-age program serving children ages 6–12 years old.

    The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can maintain a safe, structured, positive, and engaging environment while ensuring staff and children follow all program rules, routines, and expectations.

    Qualifications & Responsibilities

    Minimum of 2 years of experience supervising children and/or staff in a childcare, afterschool, camp, or school-age program

    Experience working directly with children ages 6–12

    Strong classroom and behavior management skills

    Ability to maintain control of a group while using positive and age-appropriate guidance

    Ability to create and implement weekly lesson plans, activities, projects, and recreational experiences

    Strong leadership skills and the ability to provide clear direction to staff

    Able to organize daily schedules, transitions, homework time, activities, meals/snacks, and dismissal

    Must consistently follow and enforce program policies, procedures, safety rules, and supervision requirements

    Dependable, professional, organized, and able to communicate effectively with children, families, staff, and administration

    Able to work as part of a team and assist staff when additional support is needed

    Must demonstrate good judgment and take initiative when handling classroom or program concerns

    Responsible for maintaining proper supervision and ensuring children remain safe and accounted for at all times

    We are looking for someone who is confident, organized, responsible, and able to lead by example. The Afterschool Supervisor should be able to create a structured environment where children can complete homework, participate in activities, socialize appropriately, and have a safe and enjoyable afterschool experience.
