Pay Range $15-$22 per hour

We are seeking an energetic, dedicated, and experienced After-School Teacher to join our team! In this role, you will lead a group of students during after-school hours throughout the school year. Your goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environment that supports students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, reliable, and passionate about working with children, with the ability to foster positive relationships and encourage student success.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement age-appropriate classroom activities and curriculum aligned with school standards

Support and encourage the development of students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Prepare and organize learning materials and classroom resources

Assist students with homework and academic reinforcement

Maintain accurate attendance records

Collaborate with fellow teachers, site leadership, and school personnel to promote a healthy and safe learning environment

Monitor student behavior and document and report behavioral incidents in accordance with program policies

Ensure all health, safety, and supervision guidelines are consistently followed

Qualifications

A genuine passion for working with children

Previous teaching or group leadership experience with K–12 students (preferred)

Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management

Understanding of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines with the ability to adhere to them closely

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively as a team player
