    Pay Range $20-$25 per hour

    Position: After-School Teacher (1:1 Support Focus)

    We are seeking an energetic, compassionate, and experienced Teacher to join our team! In this role, you will work closely with students during after-school hours throughout the school year, including providing individualized (1:1) support for children, some of whom may have autism or other manageable developmental or learning disabilities.

    Your goal is to create a structured, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment while helping each student reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is patient, creative, and passionate about supporting diverse learners.

    Responsibilities:

    • Implement the plan for engaging activities that align with school standards and individual student needs

    • Provide 1:1 and small-group support, including assistance for students with varying learning and behavioral needs

    • Foster the development of critical thinking, social, and academic skills

    • Prepare and adapt learning materials to support different learning styles

    • Assist students with homework and reinforce classroom learning

    • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate attendance records

    • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success

    • Follow behavior support plans and document any behavioral incidents as needed

    Qualifications:

    • A genuine passion for working with children of all abilities

    • Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare, or related setting (K–12 preferred)

    • Experience or willingness to work with students with autism or other developmental disabilities

    • Understanding of child development, classroom management, and inclusive practices

    • Ability to follow health, safety, and behavioral guidelines with consistency

    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
