Job Summary:

Old Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church seeks to hire Support Staff Team Members for its Aftercare Center. These individuals will provide supervision and interaction with children.

Qualifications:

· CPR and First Aid Certified preferred

· Must pass all background checks and meet local requirements

· Excellent people and communication skills

· Prior experience working with and/or helping children to grow emotionally, socially, and intellectually

Responsibilities:

· Facilitate planned activities as determined by the Aftercare Center Director

· Help in distributing snacks, supplies, etc.

· Supervise children constantly, never leaving them unattended

· Refer serious discipline problems to the Aftercare Center Director

· Arrive promptly and remain for the specified time

· Complete any administrative tasks assigned by the Aftercare Center Director

· Assist the Aftercare Center Director with providing all daily services and reports

· Attend all staff meetings and trainings

· Exercise independent judgement and decision-making authority as delegated

· Serve in various other roles as needed, i.e., driver, activities coordinator, etc.
