Location: Owosso, MI (3 locations within Owosso) Schedule: Afternoon & Evening Shifts (2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.) Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

About the Role

Hometown Markets is seeking a dependable Store Associate to provide excellent customer service and support store operations during afternoon and evening hours. This role helps maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment while assisting customers during peak business times.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide helpful service

Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately

Stock shelves, coolers, and merchandise

Maintain store cleanliness and organization

Assist with food preparation, coffee stations, and daily operational tasks

Follow safety and company procedures

Support team members to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

Dependable and punctual

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to remain active throughout the shift

Willingness to learn and follow direction

Retail or customer service experience preferred but not required

Schedule

Afternoon and evening shifts available

Weekend availability may be required
