    AgBiome is a revolutionary research and discovery company in Research Triangle Park, NC, committed to decreasing risk and improving yield in agriculture to feed our growing world population. We are producing a pipeline of products, both traits and biologicals, which we partner with other companies and/or take to market ourselves. We develop some products as internal projects, and others as part of R&D partnerships funded all or in part by the commercialization partner.

    Our first product, HowlerTM biological fungicide, has received regulatory approval and is being commercialized in 2019. This product will be followed by many other biological, synthetic and combination pesticides to control a variety of plant diseases, insect pests and nematodes.

    The successful candidate for the Vice President, Market & Customer Strategy, will have responsibilities for all sales and marketing activities.   He/she understands the US agricultural (including non-crop) market and market drivers, market and customer trends and production practices. This role will develop the marketing and customer strategy for AgBiome's product launches, which includes market situation, current product trends and needs, key product emphasis, key segments and targets, channel programs, pricing, terms, promotional and communication direction. Additionally, this role will be responsible for identifying product packaging and formulations needed for market segments. Collaborative forecasting and demand planning will be required, as well as clearly and concisely conveying information internally and externally as needed. This individual will develop and conduct product roll out training (which includes features, benefits, programs, and resourcing) for field sales representatives and key customers when product reaches commercialization. He/she will monitor product promotional resources and prioritization and provide resource plans in annual product business plans and will lead the product strategy team.  Close collaboration with AgBiome's field development and sales representatives is required.

    Education/Experience required; MS / BS. in agronomy, business development, or biology with minimum 10 years of product management, strategic planning and sales/customer experience.
