In the role of Mortgage Loan Specialist, you will play a key role in the company's mission to enhance the quality of life for those in the rural communities of North Carolina by providing exceptional value and service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate with lending staff to ensure the accurate and timely processing of consumer loan requests in accordance with Association policy and procedures.

Observe and apply all FCA, Federal and State regulatory rules and regulations in regard to consumer lending.

Initiate, manage, and maintain all third party communications as they relate to consumer lending.

Perform basic as well as advanced clerical and accounting functions in relation to consumer loan processing.

Assist in the preparation of required reporting, keep the Senior Compliance and Systems Specialist adequately informed of all consumer loan activity.

Perform other duties including but not limited to Data Imaging, Credit Delivery, CRM and AgVue Platforms in conjunction with consumer loan processing.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education and/or experience equivalent to a BS degree in business, or finance.

Four or more years of Farm Credit experience or equivalent mortgage lending experience is desired

Excellent written and oral communication skills, an in-depth knowledge of the mortgage industry.

Valid North Carolina Driver's license.

Ability to function independently with minimal supervision.

Applicable experience with consumer loan processing and reporting, must have the ability to exercise good judgment on complex credit and related matters.
