Job Description

AgWare is seeking a Developer to maintain our desktop application. The language is Delphi (Object Pascal). Experience with Delphi is not required, but a willingness to learn is a must.

Start making meaningful changes today. This position is involved in all phases of building and maintaining our software. You will help take customer feedback, design new features, build-out and test the features and then support our customers.

The position is open to remote workers in Colorado or South Dakota. Our main office is in Piedmont, SD but we have remote workers in three other states. Some travel to SD for planning sessions is required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 or 4 year degree in a programming related field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering) or equivalent experience.
• Ability to learn and use new technologies. Our software uses a variety of different technologies. This position involves helping to evaluate products and technologies that we should be using, learning how to use them, and implementing them in our products.
• Ability to get things done. We are a small company. You will be working with one or two other developers and three support staff/testers.

AgWare was started by a group of appraisers to provide software for rural Farm and Ranch appraisers. Our desktop software consists of a comparable sales database and report generation software that uses that data. We provide software to independent fee appraisers and are the largest provider of appraisal software to the Farm Credit system nationwide. We are focused on understanding our clients’ business and providing them with well-written software that makes their jobs easier and more efficient.
