CoVerica Agency Alliance is seeking a Commercial Sales Coach/Mentor to partner with independent insurance agencies throughout the Dallas area and help them grow their commercial lines business. This is a unique opportunity to step beyond the traditional producer or account manager role and become a trusted advisor to agency teams across your territory.
In this role, you'll work directly with agency owners, producers, and account managers—providing hands-on coaching, sales strategy, and market expertise that helps agencies write more business, improve close rates, and confidently pursue both small and large commercial accounts.

What You'll Do
As a Commercial Sales Coach, you'll serve as a trusted resource for agency partners, helping them strengthen their commercial sales process and improve production results.
Responsibilities
Visit independent insurance agencies to provide in-person coaching and sales support.
Mentor producers and account managers on commercial sales strategies and account development.
Review sales pipelines and identify opportunities to improve conversion and bind ratios.
Assist agencies with complex commercial submissions and market placement strategies.
Provide guidance on carrier selection, coverage design, and underwriting considerations.
Support renewal strategies and assist with negotiating challenging accounts.
Deliver commercial insurance training and educational sessions.
Help agencies navigate specialty and difficult-to-place commercial risks.
Collaborate with carrier partners and internal teams to develop successful solutions.
Work Environment
Travel to agency partners approximately three days each week.
Two days dedicated to office collaboration and planning.
Hybrid schedule offering flexibility while maintaining strong team connections.
What We're Looking For
Active Property & Casualty Insurance License.
Strong commercial lines insurance experience.
In-depth knowledge of commercial coverages, carrier appetite, and market placement.
Ability and willingness to travel locally throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Experience coaching, mentoring, or training insurance professionals.
Background in commercial underwriting, wholesale brokerage, or agency leadership.
Familiarity with Excess & Surplus (E&S) markets.
Consultative approach with a passion for helping others succeed.
