    Agency McKenna is searching for a DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER. We are a brand strategy, communications design and technology firm entering a high-growth phase, and we are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to assist us with client programs.

     

    POSITION OBJECTIVE:

    Manage short and long-term activities that provide data-driven support to AGMK clients’ marketing efforts, with a focus on product/service marketing, strategy, digital mar-com. The objective is to increase customer awareness and sales of clients’ branded products, programs and services. Digital experience with marketing automation technology, Google analytics, SEO strategy, email marketing, social media campaigns best practices and success programs.

     

    JOB PROFILE:

    Develop strategies and tactics to reach key segments. Define marketing objectives, customer journeys, positioning, brand voice to extend the message across multiple digital and traditional media. Build content structure and write engaging, search-optimized content for website, email, blog posts, social posts, infographics, video, display ads, AdWord campaign and organic search. Develop data-driven SEO, content strategy and tactics to accelerate brand awareness, drive scalable conversions and increase keyword ranking. Update web pages in WordPress. Thrive working in marketing automation tools like Salesforce, Hubspot or SharpSpring to drive active and drip email campaigns, long and short tail landing pages to move customers in CRM through the sales funnel toward conversion. Manage social media engagement, influencer marketing and oversee display, social advertising campaigns.

     

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop integrated digital campaigns using website strategy, marketing automation, inbound marketing, Google Analytics, SEO, landing pages, digital video with traditional advertising campaigns, direct mail
    • Develop engaging, on-brand content and search-optimized copy for website, email, blogs, social media campaigns/posts, display ads, traditional ads, AdWords, printed publications and other channels
    • Develop content marketing framework, customer research, keyword research to increase relevance of site content, lead generation, search engine visibility using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Moz, SEMRush, Hotjar to help users laser focus on finding the right content and using it
    • Edit and publish web pages using WordPress and third-party plugins to enhance site performance
    • Review primary market research, customer needs assessments, consumer market information
    • Develop digital marketing plans and business plans for departments, product and service lines (structure, campaign tactics, resource allocation, deployment, measurement and optimization) 
    • Lead user persona strategy, competitive assessments, digital marketing plans
    • Plan go-to-market strategies for existing programs and future programs
    • Manage CRM strategies: lead generation, customer acquisition, activation, promotions and measurement 
    • Possess program and project management skills, timelines, critical paths, resource allocation, etc.
    • Work with client partners and AGMK team to consult with client stakeholders on mission critical initiatives
    •  Work with in-house marketing team (strategy, design and technology) on program implementation
    • Assist business development, RFP response, support sales team, client pitches, proposal development
    • Evaluate and report on digital marketing effectiveness, ROI on product and service marketing
    • TIME ALLOCATION: 70% client billable, 20% AGMK marketing/sales support, 10% training / administrative

     

    IT’S ALL ABOUT EXPERIENCE:  

    • Excellent written and oral communication skills both big picture and detail oriented
    • A degree from accredited college or university in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Journalism or Public Relations. Digital certificate with on the job experience, a plus 
    • 5+ years structured digital marketing, program and promotional development, consulting, measurement
    • 5+ years experience in client-side or professional services agency experience: integrated marketing, digital communications, search, SEO, display ads, email marketing, social media campaigns and paid media
    • Experience in digital platforms: Inbound marketing tactics including marketing automation, SEO optimization and Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or Search Console, SEMRush, Moz, (pro user of tools like Salesforce, Hubspot, SharpSpring, Act-On, InfusionSoft or Marketo)
    • Email marketing: planning, developing content and campaigns, measuring impressions, reach metrics
    • Strong competency in consultative model (listening, defining requirements, developing programs) 
    • Ability to work concurrently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong understanding of brand strategy, analytical marketing, financial and technology solutions
    • Creative, innovative mindset able to see the “Big Idea” and bigger story that needs to be told
    • Taking initiative while working independently and meeting tight deadlines on a regular basis
    • Strong presentation skills and the ability to tactfully gain buy-in, ownership and consensus with internal and external audiences
    • Prior experience working with B2B, professional associations, trade groups, or non-profits a plus
    • A great team player, positive attitude and flexibility to work well with others

     

    TIMELINE/WAGE:

    • Start date: February/March 2022
    • Pay: Competitive salary and 401k match
