    Job Description

    REQUIRED FUNCTION 1:

    IT Field Services is looking for a contractor for a to be on-site desktop support project for 3 months. The project will entail imaging laptop and transition users from existing pc’s from their old organization to their new Serco laptops. We are looking for someone who has 2 to 3 year desktop support experience with SCCM tool and imaging.

     

    REQUIRED FUNCTION 2:

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Configures and installs laptop computers following standard procedures, isolates and resolves technical problems.
    • Provide excellent customer service, follow up skills and resolution.
    • Support Tier 2 on-site installation, implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting and/or repair of desktops, notebooks, printers, iPads and associated peripherals.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving Microsoft Windows, macOS, desktop applications. collaboration tools, shared drives, email and other technologies.
    • Support Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory products
    • Using ServiceNow to document.
    • Responsible for the overall management of specific task assignments, ensuring that the technical solutions and assigned schedules are successfully completed in a timely manner.

     

    REQUIRED FUNCTION 3:

    To qualify, you must meet these basic qualifications:

    • 2+ years’ experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
    • Experience with on-site and/or remote installations and troubleshooting
    • Strong communication skills and end-user support skills are a must
    • Strong Windows applications and PC experience
    • Experience providing Mail Support to including Microsoft Outlook
    • Experience providing Network Support: Knowledge of LAN, Wireless, and VPN troubleshooting
    • Ability to work flexible schedules to meet job requirements
    • Strong documentation skills
    • Must be customer-focused with a proactive 'can-do' attitude and excellent time management skills.
    • Strong problem analysis and resolution skills
    • Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, presentation skills required to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
    • Position requires ability to talk, listen, and type.
    • Position requires the ability to interact effectively with customers and IT Pros across the organization
