Job Description

• The Hotel Sales, Specialty Desk Agent is responsible for the administration of all Leisure and Convention hotel room reservations channeled through the Hotel Sales Department via HBSI and Passkey. Responsible for the execution of and the input for these multi-sized Leisure and Convention group rooming lists/reservations along with all special billing instructions.
• Liaison between the many related departments that include: Hotel Operations, Front Desk-Group Desk, Hotel Sales Staff, Revenue Management, Convention Services/External Meeting Planners as well as contracted Leisure partners and Leisure Market Staff/Managers.

Qualifications

• Must be flexible and able to commit to business needs, including, but not limited to, overtime and/or shift changes.
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Opera, Passkey and MS Office applications is required.
• Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task.
• At least one year as Room Reservations Sales Agent and one year of Customer Service or ACD Call Center experience.
• A minimum typing speed of 40WPM is required.
• A second language is preferred, but not required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
