GPM LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY in NE San Antonio, TX has an IMMEDIATE in-office opening for a LIFE INSURANCE AGENT SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE.
The Agent Support Representative will provide EXCELLENT customer service and support to independent life insurance agents via phone, text, and chat. Every day will be different and involve interaction with agents from all over the US.

A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) needed/preferred
- 1-2 Years life insurance experience and knowledge of life insurance
- Hold an Active Life and Health Insurance license OR be willing to become licensed as a life insurance agent within 60 days of employment.
- Must possess strong Microsoft Office and general technology skills with the ability to quickly learn and support multiple agent-facing platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact confidently with field agents and leaders.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Serve as first point of contact for prospective agent inquiries:
- Gather key qualifying information
- Provide overview of GPM Life’s product portfolio, distribution functions (excluding agent compensation discussions)
- Route qualified calls to various departments as necessary
- Serve as front-line support for active field force:
- Respond to agent questions utilizing Agent Access, GPM Life Imaging systems, or by any other internal system approved for use by GPM Life
- Answer product questions
- Prepare illustrations and product quotes as requested by our active field force
- Troubleshoot agent technology obstacles as they occur
- Answer commission-related questions and escalate when appropriate
- Assist with contracting duties to include taking state appointment fees and provide information regarding the status of a pending contract
- Act as liaison between agents and GPM Life’s New Business team on pending applications questions
- Assist agents in resolving outstanding New Business requirements
- Provide basic software and Agent Access training as needed or requested
