BVA Bears is seeking a Senior Agile Coach. This is a full-time, remote role with travel to other Government or Contractor facilities as required. The average workday is 8 hours and the window in which those 8 hours may be scheduled is between 6:00am hours and 6:00pm hours eastern time, Monday through Friday except for Government Holidays with the core hours (9am to 3pm) being covered.
The Senior Agile Coach will provide expert consulting, coaching, and training on Agile methodologies to optimize software development practices. The Senior Agile Coach will lead efforts to overcome organizational challenges that impede Agile transformation, ensuring seamless integration of Agile practices. The candidate may also manage other team members and be responsible for driving long-term Agile success across projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide in-depth coaching and leadership on Agile practices to teams and organizations, ensuring successful adoption of Agile methodologies.
Identify and address organizational barriers to Agile transformation and implement effective solutions to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Facilitate training sessions and workshops on Agile frameworks, tools, and techniques.
Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to align Agile practices with business objectives.
Lead the implementation and scaling of Agile across multiple teams or business units.
May manage and oversee the work of other Agile coaches or project teams.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
10+ years of relevant experience in Agile coaching, Agile project management, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Expertise in scaling Agile methodologies across large and complex organizations.
Experience managing multiple Agile teams simultaneously.
Certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC), or similar credentials.
Export Control Compliance:
