_Position Overview _
The Agile Configuration Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and enforcing Configuration Management (CM) practices within an Agile delivery environment. This role supports sprint planning, release management, and incremental delivery).
**Key Responsibilities **
Manage Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), deviations, and waivers
Support Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and technical reviews
Ensure configuration changes are documented and traceable
Maintain CM tools such as CMPro, Jira, or Azure DevOps
Integrate CM practices within Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban)
Conduct configuration audits and status reporting

Required Skills
Basic understanding of Configuration Management principles (baselines, version control, change tracking)
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban)
Experience using or supporting tools such as Jira, SharePoint, Excel, or configuration repositories
Strong attention to detail and document control discipline
Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records
Required Experience
2-5 years of experience in Configuration Management, Systems Engineering, IT support, or related field
Experience supporting data tracking, document control, or technical documentation efforts
Exposure to DoD or Federal programs or structured technical environments preferred (not required)
Internship or entry-level experience supporting Agile teams is a plus
**Education Requirements **
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in a STEM discipline (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field).
Six (6) years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
