Job Description

DATA CONVERSION LEAD - SQL SERVER INTEGRATION SERVICES (SSIS)

Lead a team in the design and development of data conversion and interface jobs, using SSIS.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Lead design and development effort, including:

o   Read and Understand Requirements

o   Provide accurate effort estimates for data conversion and interface design, development, and testing

o   Lead detailed design sessions with technical and functional stakeholders and fully document source-to-target mappings

o   Develop package to specifications

o   Maintain existing packages

o   Design, code and unit test SSIS Packages

o   Monitor jobs and verify completion

·       Database/Data Modeling support for all project teams, including some DBA tasks

·       Manage Data Team, including scheduling of tasks and mentoring of junior resources

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

·       6+ years experience with SQL Server (2012+, 2017 preferred)

·       6+ years experience and strong skills writing SQL and T-SQL Statements

·       4+ years experience developing and updating SSIS packages

·       4+ years experience database design/data modeling

·       4+ years experience gathering ETL requirements and documenting source-to-target mappings

·       4+ years experience as Team Lead or Manager

·       Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle and Best Practices

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

·       10+ years overall experience with database/ETL projects

·       8+ years experience with SQL Server

·       8+ years experience designing and developing SSIS packages
