    Job Description

    The Practice Manager for the Modern Infrastructure team will lead a multi-discipline team that includes Microsoft 365 systems engineers and project managers.  The Modern Infrastructure team has a mission to migrate, deploy, customize, and provide continued guidance for Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure.

    We’re looking for a Practice Manager that is passionate about supporting their team, delivering value to customers with a great experience, and ensuring business success for Agile IT.

    Agile IT continues to innovate by focusing on cloud-first deployments and building repeatable solutions through defined processes and automation.  Agile IT provides both pre-defined service offerings within the Agile IT Solutions Framework, but also consultative services for business and technical strategic results.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO

    • Manage day-to-day activities such as resource scheduling conflicts, expense review and approval, utilization reporting, etc.
    • Provide leadership for modern infrastructure team, including planning, coaching, recruitment, selection, performance development, and mentoring
    • Monitor staff performance by working with employees to implement goals and document progress
    • Identify and manage risk on projects
    • Manage staff to ensure all duties are performed in an accurate and timely manner
    • Develop and implement department policies and procedures
    • Ensure deadlines and production schedules are met and reallocate workloads as necessary
    • Perform resource planning and allocation and support direct reports in meeting work requirements
    • Build a high performing team of mixed subject matter experts both technical and non-technical while mentoring them on soft skills and career planning
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Must have 2+ years of experience managing and leading teams
    • Must have 2 to 5 years of relevant IT services delivery experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
    • Demonstrated ability to lead projects to completion
    • Demonstrated experience facilitating business and IT senior leaders and executives in definition of business-driven IT roadmaps
    • Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to assess customer business problems, recommend improvement opportunities, and align stakeholders around remediation of gaps
    • Grasp of current and emerging technologies and trends, with ability to rapidly assess and apply new and emerging technologies
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
    • Experience with Microsoft 365 and/or Microsoft Azure is a plus
