Agile IT is looking for a design-savvy, expert web developer that can take a creative vision and turn it into reality. Adherence to style guides and design compositions are a given. As a developer, you understand modern frameworks and implement reusable code that improves the team’s productivity. The quality of your deliverables is represented with scalable front-end code that is easy to maintain, optimize, and evolves with future product enhancements. Your work ethic is driven by attention to detail and being pixel perfect.

WHAT YOU DO:

• Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience
• Create overall concepts for the user experience within a business webpage or product, ensuring all interactions are intuitive and easy for customers
• Analyze customer responses and website data to determine high traffic web pages and why some perform better than others
• Design the aesthetics to be implemented within a website or product, from the layout menus and drop-down options to colors and fonts
• Build storyboards to conceptualize designs and convey project plans to clients and management
• Account for and track the human-computer interaction (HCI) element of a design
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
• Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
• Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
• Conduct testing of completed applications, websites, and software to Agile IT user experience
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards

Qualifications

WHAT SETS YOU APART:

• 5+ years experience developing “responsive designs” that scale for web, software, or mobile applications
• 5+ years experience with web services (consuming or creating) with REST or SOAP
• 3+ years experience with JavaScript and React
• Expertise with HTML and CSS
• Working knowledge of MVC implementations with server-side and emphasis on client-side
• Experience Unit testing and Test Driven Development

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

• Experience developing solutions with Visual Studio (2019+)
• Experience with Azure services and Azure DevOps is a major plus

Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional work offsite.
