Job Description

Agile Premier has a Dallas based client that is looking to hire a Data Governance Lead. This person will be responsible for the implementation, execution, and oversight of the company's data governance and data management strategy. This will include development and implementation of standardization and activities that support the optimization of end-to-end business processes that consume Customer, Material, Vendor and Financial master data within SAP/S/4 HANA.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Drive continuous process improvement by monitoring and analyzing KPI's, proposing process and system changes providing details of scope, estimated cost, and timelines, proactively improve operational processes, and improve quality and business outcomes
• Act a Thought Leader and Subject Matter Expert with continued research on the latest capabilities and contributing to the knowledge repository by writing white papers, blogs, take initiatives on training to enhance internal capabilities
• Work with business and IT units, plan and design object specific architecture to configure and deliver data design functional capabilities.
• Set/manage data standards, business/technical rules and processes required.
• Defines an architecture that ensures consistency and eliminates redundancy of all Data Management domains across all business applications
• Experience with ERP implementations.
• Experience in an SAP master data lead/management role
• Well versed in master data governance principles and best practices.
• Strong understanding of SAP Order to Cash, Finance, Close to Disclose, and Procure to Pay processes and workflows.
• Knowledgeable with SAP Customer and Material Master data domains.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Information Sciences/Technology, Supply Chain or related fields required. • Experience with ERP implementations. • 10+ years of experience in a SAP master data management role • Well versed in master data governance and management principles and best practices. • Strong understanding of the Order to Cash, Finance, Close to Disclose, and Procure to Pay processes and workflows within SAP. • Very knowledgeable with SAP Customer and Material Master data domains. • Experience developing and communicating MDG standards and MDM solutions across different business entities and functions. • Experience working in equipment distribution and/or manufacturing industry preferred.
