    Job Description

    Agile Premier has a Dallas/Ft. Worth based client that is going through a major implementation of SAP. This position will be a key member assisting with the implementation, deployment and support of the end-to-end system. This role will primarily be responsible for owning VMS functionality of S/4HANA to ensure process standardization by utilizing standard SAP software capabilities, facilitate key design decisions, integration, hands on systems configuration, testing and operational monitoring to continuously improve efficiency and quality of the process. PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES:

    • Partner and collaborate with the business on implementing and adopting the new SAP S/4HANA System and be their single point of contact from IT for effectively and efficiently managing the VMS process.
    • Lead the SAP VMS Solution Design sessions with the business and technical teams leveraging SAP best practices and industry templates, provide inputs to the technical development team for RICEFW and Data Migration, manage Cutover activities, Testing and End User Training
    • Configure, document and maintain the relevant functions for Order-to-Cash and Vehicle Management System in SAP S/4HANA including but not limited to: Enterprise Structure, Action Matrix, Variant Configuration, Complex Pricing, Procurement, Inbound and Outbound Delivery, Returns, Warranty Management, Invoicing, Integration with other SAP modules such as Finance, Materials Management, Customer Service and external systems, Dealer portals, etc.
    • Manage Production Support and troubleshoot the issues in live system by engaging appropriate internal and external stakeholders, being responsive, leading the root cause analysis and thoughtful on upstream and downstream impacts of the change. Provide quick resolution of the problems ensuring minimal downtime to the business and adhering to the change control process of the organization
    • Drive continuous process improvements by monitoring and analyzing the KPIs, proposing process and system changes, providing the details on scope, estimate the cost of implementation, timelines, improve quality and the business outcomes
    • Lead and manage internal functional team and external members to effectively manage project and support activities, deliverables, risks, timelines and quality
    • Act as a Thought Leader and Subject Matter Expert with continued research on latest SAP software capabilities and contributing to the knowledge repository by writing white papers, blogs, participate and demonstrate leadership skills to proactively improve IT department’s operational processes, take initiatives on trainings to enhance the internal technical capabilities, and strive to improve the end user satisfaction result

    QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information systems, Engineering or a related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Certifications in Agile Project Management and/or SAP Activate Methodology is preferred
    • Knowledge of SAP Model Company and Industry Solutions is desirable
    • Overall 10+ years of experience in the SAP functional domain with Sales and Distribution (SD) module and Order-To-Cash with Vehicle Management System process with minimum 4 full-life cycle SAP implementations
    • Should have completed at least 1-2 VMS implementations in S/4HANA within the Automobile and Manufacturing industries
    • Must be an expert in SAP SD, Pricing, Variant Configuration, Warranty Management, Customer Service, Master Data Management and S/4HANA VMS process
    • Must understand the interfaces necessary for implementing and operating the end-to-end VMS process
    • Excellent understanding of SAP SD-FI, SD-MM, SD-CS integrations in ECC and S/4HANA
    • Participates in multiple design activities with authority to make independent choices free from supervision
    • Requires strong communication skills to work internally with end user departments, management and peers. Develops and provides written and verbal presentations to end users, peers, and support personnel
    • Problem Solving and analytical skills: demonstrates superior diagnostic ability and proficiency in the use of specialized tools, techniques and procedures. Exhibits strong analytical ability and creativity in developing and integrating an end-to-end solution
    • Strong team leadership skills able to provide leadership and direction to functional team members and business users of the system
