We build systems that are distributed around the world, spanning our music apps, web player, and voice-forward experiences on mobile and Amazon Echo devices, powered by Alexa. Amazon Music's New Projects team is looking for founding team members across a variety of functions, including software engineering/development, product, marketing, design, and more. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of professional software development experience
• 3+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• 2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current system

PREFERRED 

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures and algorithm design, and complexity analysis
• Experienced in all stages of development, including design, development, testing, and deployment

INTERVIEWING 

This is a full time position with one of the most desired employers in the world. We are looking for candidates that love to code and solve problems with software development. The first interview will be 1 hour code exercise to evaluate your computer science coding foundation; this is over a video call. The following interviews will be over video and include behavioral and system design science.
