Our client in the Construction space is currently looking to bring on either a Controller or Assistant Controller to oversee finance and accounting operations and manage a small team!
- Maintain general ledger including hands on reconciliations and month-end close process
- Reconciliation of job costing activities including reviewing of job specific work in process (WIP) reports and review balances
- Oversee billing, accounts payable and payroll
- Maintenance of fixed asset ledger including depreciation calculations (book and tax)
- Preparation of financial statements (internal and external reporting)
- Preparation and maintenance of annual budget and related cash flow projections
- Assist with development and monitoring of strategic plan and budget
- Monitoring and reporting of compliance with lenders and other bank requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in required
- Experience utilizing SAGE 300 or Timberline
- 5 years of construction accounting experience strongly preferred
- Experience consolidation or intercompany reconciliations
