Job Description

Full service Certified Public Accounting Firm located in Plano, Texas seeks a Full-Time Tax Accountant with over 5 years of tax experience in a public accounting firm. The firm was founded in 2003 and is one of the most distinguished CPA firms in the Dallas metroplex.

This position will be responsible for international, federal and state tax compliance, tax planning, accounting, QuickBooks, and payroll support services.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

CPA licensed

Advanced skill level in QuickBooks and Excel

5+ years tax preparation experience (Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S)

2+ year(s) tax return review experience

Knowledge of ProSystems tax software is a plus

Experienced in compiled & reviewed financial statements

Analytical and technical research skills.

Ability to teach, mentor and guide

Strong organization, communication, customer service, presentation, and PC skills

Ability to meet deadlines while multi-tasking

Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, team oriented environment

Positive attitude with desire to build strong relationships with clients and co-workers
