Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. is a typical workday. Our culture is optimistic and supportive, with a growth mindset. In June, we'll relocate to a new office in Lawrence that will feature ensuite restrooms, a break room stocked with beverages and snacks, and a secret chocolate drawer!

QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently pursuing a law degree
• Excellent organization and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform comfortably in a team-environment as well as independently.
• Competence in Microsoft Office suite of applications, plus Google docs

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review service contracts, nondisclosure agreements, certificates of non-conformity, sales contracts, and international documents.
• Meet with the appropriate manager to discuss potential problems or further details needed for contract negotiations and/or projects
• Prepare executive level presentations on contractual risk 
• Review and analyze RFPs and contracts
• Perform legal research
• Draft contractual memoranda and letters
• Translate business requirements into system requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
