    YOUR ROLE

    The Air Export Gateway Agent is responsible for timely, cost effective movement of air export freight managed by the Air Export Gateway department as directed by the Supervisor and/or Manager. The position is responsible for processing of MAWB consolidations, set trade-lanes encompassing all aspects of the ATA process. Operational experience in the airfreight industry including but not limited to prior experience with warehousing/ airline/ GHA/ freight forwarder Air Export Gateway operations. Monday through Friday, 5 Day work week.

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide excellent customer service and on-going commitment to quality and data integrity.
    • Prepare, handle and process documentation needed for air export consolidations.
    • Interact and collaborate closely with the air export departments in the region.
    • Arrange bookings with carriers; optimize cargo consolidations.
    • Ensure timely processing and delivery to the airport; constant communication with the warehouse team and truck dispatch during the consolidation process.
    • Track & trace shipments; monitor vendor performance; address and resolve service irregularities.
    • Contribute to maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal customers.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

    • Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend.
    • Pro-active; strong planning and organizational skills.
    • Ability to be profit conscious and have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team and have the ability to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks and have the ability to work with demanding deadlines.
    • Must be detail oriented, thorough and accurate and have the ability to efficiently solve problems; proven analytical skills.
    • Proficient computer skills (solid data entry with high accuracy rate, email, internet, excel, word, etc.).
    • Solid knowledge of export procedures/documentation is a plus.

    Good knowledge of international geography including countries, major cities.
