Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Air Logistics Revenue Care Specialist with a strong background in accounting to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition, invoicing, and financial reporting for our air logistics operations. The ideal candidate will combine knowledge of air freight logistics with solid accounting principles to support billing accuracy, revenue analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and validate air logistics billing data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contractual agreements and company policies.
Monitor and analyze revenue transactions for air freight shipments, identifying and resolving discrepancies between expected and actual revenues.
Reconcile billing reports with operational data and general ledger entries.
Collaborate with operations, sales, and customer service teams to address and resolve revenue-related issues.
Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and external regulatory requirements.
Generate regular reports on revenue performance, variances, and corrective actions.
Assist in month-end closing processes and revenue forecasting.
Support internal and external audits with documentation and explanations of revenue-related transactions.
Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance revenue integrity and reduce billing errors.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Logistics, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in air logistics, freight forwarding, or a similar industry.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, especially revenue recognition.
Proficiency in ERP systems and logistics software (e.g., SAP, Cargowise, or similar platforms).
Advanced Excel skills; experience with data analysis and reporting tools is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
Experience with international freight billing and documentation.
Knowledge of IATA/air freight industry standards.
