Job Description
We are seeking an Air Relationship Manager to serve as the dedicated expert and point of contact for client air travel. This role blends deep technical knowledge of air travel with high-touch client service, ensuring that every journey is seamless, optimized, and aligned with client preferences.
The Air Relationship Manager builds and maintains strong client relationships, manages complex air travel arrangements, and delivers proactive solutions that inspire confidence. Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management & Sales
- Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, providing personalized service for all air travel needs.
- Identify opportunities to expand air business within client portfolios and new client segments.
- Conduct needs assessments and recommend tailored solutions that align with client objectives.
- Clearly articulate the value of company’s air expertise, building client trust and confidence.
- Ensure seamless execution of every flight booking, from consultation through departure.
Air Travel Coordination & Operations
- Research and book domestic and international flights, including commercial, mileage, and private charter options.
- Use Sabre (and other tools) to hold, ticket, modify, and refund flights.
- Leverage frequent flyer programs and credit card reward systems to maximize value for clients.
- Troubleshoot and resolve air travel issues quickly and effectively, ensuring smooth journeys.
Desired Qualifications & Experience
- Passion for aviation and the air travel industry.
- Strong knowledge of airline products, fare structures, and loyalty programs.
- Ability to translate complex air options into clear, client-friendly recommendations.
- Background in hospitality, client service, or luxury travel.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Experience using Sabre or another GDS (required).
- Problem-solving mindset, especially in time-sensitive situations.
- Familiarity with aviation terminology (e.g., “saver award,” “KEF”).
