We are currently seeking a Full-Time Accountant. The successful candidate will need to possess the ability to prioritize, be detail oriented and organized to meet deadlines. Must be a leader, self-starter, highly motivated and excel in a team environment. Must work well under pressure with minimal supervision and must be able to interact with staff in various departments. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Take on a leadership role in the accounting department, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer
· Work with the Team Lead to ensure accurate accounting related documentation for approved procedures for front office staff and store management
· Work with the Team Lead and Corporate Trainer to set standard procedures for all stores
· Assist with hiring and training of new accounting staff
· Assist CFO with weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
· Manage implementation of new software programs including Papersave and other initiatives
· Work with IT department to record and investigate inventory adjustments
· Investigate and identify new ways of working to gain efficiencies in Accounting and Store Front Offices
· Liaise between accounting, stores, and other departments to improve processes and communication
· Support management on special projects as needed including traveling to stores to support the front office staff
REQUIREMENTS:
BS in Accounting or Finance (or related experience in AP, year-end close, taxes, reconciliation)
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Leadership capabilities
· Great attention to detail
· Ability to learn quickly and multitask
· Ability to grow and expand both in work and responsibility
· Effective team player
· Excellent numerical and analytical skills
· Proficiency in MS Office and competency in computer software
