Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Aircraft Maintenance Project Manager to support the coordination and execution of aircraft maintenance projects, including both line and base maintenance. This entry-to-mid-level role is ideal for a proactive professional who is eager to grow in a fast-paced environment. You will assist senior project managers and management staff in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, supporting team coordination, and contributing to operational efficiency while developing skills in project management. FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is preferred. Recent A&P school graduates with strong internship/co-op experience will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in leading and supporting aircraft maintenance initiatives, including line maintenance (routine checks and minor repairs) and base maintenance (major overhauls and inspections), from planning through execution and closure
Support coordination with maintenance technicians, engineers, suppliers, and stakeholders to help ensure projects meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
Help develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations, adapting to changing priorities
Participate in risk assessments, identify potential issues proactively under guidance, and support mitigation strategies to minimize downtime
Ensure all activities comply with FAA regulations, company policies, and industry standards
Assist in tracking project performance metrics, preparing basic reports, and contributing to updates for senior management
Actively participate in a collaborative team environment, seeking guidance from senior project managers and experienced technicians while supporting team efforts and contributing to continuous improvement in maintenance operations
Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in aviation maintenance.

Job Requirements
Associate’s degree in Aviation Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent hands-on experience
5-7 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience (line/base/AOG).
Demonstrated proactive initiative and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of FAA regulations, aviation safety standards, and basic maintenance practices
Proficient in the use of aircraft maintenance manuals (e.g., AMM - Aircraft Maintenance Manual, IPC - Illustrated Parts Catalog, SRM - Structural Repair Manual, CMM - Component Maintenance Manual, AWM - Aircraft Wiring Manual, etc.)
Basic understanding of aircraft records and logbook management
Familiarity with FAA Form 8130-3 tags, Form 337, and major/minor repair documentation processes
Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook
Proficiency with general project management tools and software
Ability to travel for on-site inspections and client meetings
Preferred Qualifications
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification (current and active)
Ability to read and interpret aircraft blueprints/drawings
Preferred Skills
Experience with corporate jets (e.g., Embraer Legacy 600, Bombardier Challenger 850, Hawker series)
Basic experience in data analysis and reporting
